Within the months of october and february, the protagonist is the above mentioned partridge.

In this wild country, this bird flies in a unmistakable fast and nervous way. Due to the fact that drivers take place in between hills and mountains, killing partridges at El Palomar is a real challenge for and expert gun.Normally, the shoots consist of a maximum of 5 drivers per day, as the professional work of the beaters requires both time and ability and in like manner, the beaten areas are extensive.

Each drive may last in between 30 and 45 minutes, the birds appearing in small groups and in a continiously; in this way, the excitement is much more intense and the gun does not stop shooting until the end.

The groups can be formed of a minimum of 8 guns and a maximum of 12. The guns will be accompanied by a loader and a helper or "secretario" who will assist them throughout the shoot.

In between the drivers and while the partridges are beeing collected, we will serve a succulent aperitif in the country.
