Discover Partridge Hunting

Driven Partridge Shooting

Since 1970, Samuel Flores has been organizing the finest driven red partridge shoots at El Palomar. The estate’s unique terrain offers a driven partridge hunting experience of unmatched beauty and quality.

From October to February, the red partridge takes center stage. Amid steep crags and dense scrubland, the partridge’s fast and nervous flight is unmistakable.Because the drives are always organized among hills and thick brush, hunting partridges at El Palomar is a true challenge—even for seasoned hunters. A maximum of five drives are typically held per day, as the professional work of the beaters requires both time and skill, and the areas covered are vast. Each drive lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, with partridges usually arriving chorreada—that is, in small groups—making the excitement even more intense, as the hunter rarely stops shooting until the very end.

Groups must consist of a minimum of 6 and up to 12 guns, not including companions. Each hunter is assisted at the peg by a loader and a secretary, who are there to help at all times. Between drives, while the secretaries collect the partridges, a light snack (taco) is served.

Our greatest pride is that our clients return year after year. Many came as guests 20 or 30 years ago — today, they are lifelong friends.
